Many people are involved in the smooth running of Oak Tree House, from the Warden to the Trustees. Most of the staff have worked for us for many years, and help to create our friendly community.
About our Staff
Barbara Griffiths is the Warden, and has been at the heart of the Oak Tree House community for over twenty years; Emma Macpherson is the Deputy Warden. Rita Byford and Andy Scholes are our Cooks, and Barbara Smith does our bookkeeping.
Coleen Brown, our Housekeeper, and Marie Breslin, the Domestic Assistant, both keep Oak Tree House looking lovely, and can also help with cleaning and ironing for individual flats by arrangement.
Ultimate responsibility for Oak Tree House rests with the Trustees of the Central England Quaker Old People’s Fund Trust (Reg Charity No. 245977), who are appointed by the Area Meeting. Our Trustees manage the running of the building, and have a personal interest in visiting and supporting the residents.
