Many people are involved in the smooth running of Oak Tree House, from the Warden to the Trustees. Most of the staff have worked for us for many years, and help to create our friendly community.
About our Staff
Barbara Griffiths is the resident Warden, and has been at the heart of the Oak Tree House community for over twenty five years. Emma Macpherson manages the finance, facilities and operations, and Rita Byford, Monica Momo and Andy Scholes are our Cooks who provide a home-cooked lunch 7 days a week.
Colleen Brown, our Housekeeper, along with Melissa Smith, our Domestic Assistant, keep Oak Tree House looking lovely, and can also help with cleaning and ironing for individual flats by arrangement.
Ultimate responsibility for Oak Tree House rests with the Trustees of the Central England Quaker Old People’s Fund Trust (Reg Charity No. 245977), who are appointed by the Area Meeting. Our Trustees manage the running of the building, and have a personal interest in visiting and supporting the residents.
